Who We Are
Heavy Duty Controls & Electrical is a Yatala-based industrial electrical manufacturer servicing the mining, oil & gas, construction, and heavy industry sectors across SE Queensland.
We manufacture control panels, wiring harnesses, and battery cables from our Yatala facility — positioned in the industrial corridor between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Everything we build leaves our facility ready to install.
Our core strength is production capability. We're set up to build identical panels in volume — the same unit, 5 times or 50 times, to the same standard. That's what OEMs who supply skids, gensets, and pump sets to the gas fields and mining industry need from an electrical subcontractor.
All work is carried out under QBCC Contractor Licence 91449 and complies with AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules.

We are set up to manufacture batches of identical panels and harnesses. If you need 20 of the same unit, we deliver 20 identical units — not 20 panels that each look slightly different.
Every panel we produce complies with the Australian/New Zealand wiring rules. Correctly segregated circuits, terminated conductors, labelled components, and documented. No shortcuts.
We work entirely from our Yatala facility. Your panels are built, tested, and packed here, then shipped to your yard or directly to site. We don't send half-built panels.
